| Band Notes: June 5, 2004 - Hard to believe this day would ever come, but today was George Bookataubs last parade as the director of the Westbrook High School Marching Band. The parade was followed by a SURPRISE retirement party at Westbrook High School. Many friends, alumni, boosters, and family were able to say thanks to Mr. B for all his dedication and service to kids and music over his long extinguished career. The highlight was creation of the George Bookataub scholarship that will be given out annually to a high school senior. |
