Jazz Ensemble Updates

Happy New Year!

Here are some updates to our performance calendar for jazz ensemble:

Monday we will record our 6 songs for the Westbrook Womens Club during rehearsal
The Womens Club has canceled the Tuesday performance out of worry. This is their choice, so I hope recording and sending it to them might be thoughtful, and fun for us!
Tuesday Feb 8 - Potential performance at WPAC with 8th Grade Band! (It could be Monday the 7th, but we are shooting for the 8th.)
Wednesday Feb 9 - District jazz Festival (time TBA) at South Portland HS
Saturday Feb 12 at WPAC - 8-9am MBDA Jazz Festival.

We have honors band at Noble HS coming up on Jan 21-22.

Basic format:

Rehearsal Friday 1-5, Saturday rehearsal 9-3, concert at 3.
We provide bus to and from on Friday, and down there on Saturday. Students are responsible for a ride home with family after the concert.
Concert Dress is ALL BLACK, including a Black Tie for boys.
